Accepting Submissions from Directors

For upcoming 2012- 2013 Season (October 2012 to September 2013)

The Main Street theatre company is accepting submissions from Directors for our new season of main stage productions.  Our Artistic Committee welcomes theater director’s input in this process.  In the past several seasons we have attracted talented outside directors who have participated in our theatrical endeavors.  As we further develop our theater space we seek new productions that will not only appeal to our audiences but to actors and technicians as well. We wish to encourage the new and talented in all areas of a production to join us.

Our season will consist of:

Show #1 Opening  Comedy/ Drama

Show #2 Holiday Show

Show #3  Large  Musical

Show #4  Comedy/Drama

Show #5 Junior Musical

Show #6 Large Musical

Potential Directors should submit:

• Resume/with references

• Suggested show with description or script if possible.

• Concept of show

• Idea for set Design/Technical considerations

• Estimated budget

• Availability of show

If  selected for an interview come prepared to discuss all of the above.  This is a paid position.
