In a non competitive and fun atmosphere your child will develop their imagination and confidence. Students will learn the fundamentals of expressing themselves. The workshop includes imagination exercise, pantomime, role playing and interacting creative activities.. This is a step up from the audience to the stage experience. This workshop is devoted to the youngster who loves to perform.

In The Spotlight (Ages 9-15)

Your child will be part of a total theatrical experience. They
will learn performance skills, audition techniques, character
development and movement. All culminating in a Main Street
Theater Junior showcase on the final day where the public is

Mail registration is on a first come first serve basis. Registration may be completed by September 15th if the child is "pre-registered" by phone (732-739-1404) In person registration will be for the remaining class openings.
WE WILL NOTIFY ONLY IF YOUR ENROLLMENT BY MAIL CANNOT BE ACCEPTED.

For Your Information
Staff: Certified teachers with extensive background in theater will be conducting our workshops.
Please consider carefully your child’s choice of workshop so that it will not be necessary to request a refund. Any unforeseen canceling of a particular workshop will be made up at the end of the semester.
Inclement Weather: In case of inclement weather forcing the closing we will use a phone chain for cancellation contact. Your assistance appreciated Classes will be cancelled only if you receive a call. Workshop morning will be made up at the end of the semester.
We expect students to arrive on time for workshop.
Open House: on the 5th week parents are invited to visit the workshop. Please refrain from staying in the workshop during other class times.
